My name is John Ewer I am both the instructor and prime mover of North London Jeet Kune Do.
I am a Martial Artist with well over forty years experience. Originally my first discipline was Judo and my master was Percy Sikine (8th Dan). I have been very lucky indeed when choosing my masters.

Later & whilst I was living abroad, I practised the art of Taekwondo. But after my return home to the UK I found myself still searching for my ultimate discipline, and I found it in the practice of Jeet Kune Do.

I once again had some incredible good fortune in being introduced to Mr Roger Barnes (U.K. European, and World Championship Silver and Gold medallist) who I trained with for over seven years. I obtained my Black Belt in Jeet Kune Do under his quality teaching.

North London JKD remains relativity small in classes but by this means we are able to maintain that all of our students can receive the very best in quality tuition and personal attention.
